Following the screening on 26 October, Frédérique Ries MEP asked the European Commission whether it will incorporate and promote arts therapy within its mental health policy. We await a response.
A special avant-première screening and discussion event took place at the prestigious UGC Cinema in Brussels under the patronage of Belgian Member of Parliament and Renew Group Co-Chair Frédérique Ries MEP, featuring a discussion on mental health with Ali Boulala, ‘KeepAppy’ Founder and member of the WHO Europe Mental Health Coalition Aimee-Louise Carton, and Alejandra Piot from the Euro Youth Mental Health network.
The skateboarding community in Stockholm came together to declare that mental health is everyone's business.
Ali Boulala spoke to a crowd of passionate skateboarders who had the chance to show off some tricks before the exciting world premiere of the film trailer for The Scars of Ali Boulala.
The crowd also got to hear from the team behind the film and learn about the filmmaking journey and why it is so important that we all take action to support each other and take mental health seriously.
